2002 Graduation in Medicine at the University of Pisa discussing a thesis on “Psychopathological features of a sample of over-weighted or obese patients”
2007 Specialization in Psychiatry at the University of Pisa discussing a thesis on “ Jealousy delusion in patients with Parkinson Disease treated with L-Dopa and dopa-agonists: review of the literature and clinical contribute”.

Clinical practice

2000-2004 General practitioner; clinical practice in women ward and research and follow-up on patients suffering from Eating Disorders at the Psychiatric department of the University of Pisa.
2004- Clinical practice at the outpatient department of the Psychiatric Clinic of the University of Pisa; research activity at the Center for diagnosis and treatment of Obesity and for patients candidate for pancreas transplant (Azienda Ospedaliera Pisana, Cisanello-Pisa), cooperating in a project on “development and improvement of guide-lines and of integrated treatment for obese patients”.
2007- She is attending PhD in clinical psychopharmacology at the University of Pisa.
She is an interpersonal psychotherapist.
